What is the 20% rego rebate?
From Monday, June 1st, eligible Victorian car owners can apply for a 20% rebate on their rego payment for 2025/26 – to help combat pressure at the petrol pump.
Anyone who renewed their rego for the 2025/26 period is eligible to receive:
- $186 for people with one car
- $372 for people with two cars
You can claim the rebate on a maximum of two vehicles under your name.
